Admission & Withdrawals
  • LFS accepts enrolment for boys and girls, starting from class I till class X.
  • Application forms can be obtained from the school office as well as downloaded, filled and submitted at the reception desk of LFS.
  • Registration for admission to class I is done in the month of January. Admission to other classes is done after the declaration of the results of respective annual examinations, subject to availability of vacancies.
  • Admission is granted strictly on the merit of the candidate. Letters of recommendation from any source or personal contacts on behalf of the applicant are not taken into account whatsoever.
  • Children joining the school have to produce the birth certificate in original in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form/T.C.
  • A new pupil who has attended any recognized school cannot be admitted without a leaving certificate from the school last attended and in the case of a pupil coming from schools outside the Districts or state of Orissa ,the certificate must be countersigned by the District Inspector of Schools of the District from which the pupil comes. This must be submitted at the time of admission.
  • A new pupil in class II and above who has attended an unrecognized school must produce an affidavit signed by the parents or guardian before a magistrate. The affidavit should clearly state the name of the unrecognized school, the class attended, the subjects  studied and the  examination passed. The leaving certificate of the unrecognized school must also be submitted at the time of admission.
  • A pupil seeking re-admission within three months of withdrawal must pay the entire fees for the aforementioned period of absence.

Necessary Instruction

  • Only Parents should fill up and sign the application form. In case it is unavoidable for the guardian to do the same ,the form must mention the reasons for such an arrangement.  
  • Admission is subjected to availability of vacancies in the class for which admission is sought.
  • All the required documents should be submitted
  • All the required fees should be paid during the time of admission, without any arrears outstanding.

Documents Required
The duly filled-in application/registration form must be submitted along with attested copies of the following:

  • Birth Certificate (original at the time of admission for verification)
  • TC (original to be submitted during admission)
  • Mark sheet of last school attended, if any.
  • Two recent passport size photographs.


  • A written notice of withdrawal must be given one month in advance. (In special cases such as sudden transfer of parents, the principal may reduce the period of notice)
  • The leaving certificate will not be issued until all dues are paid.
  • The principal reserves the right to request the withdrawal of any student if his/her behaviour is unsatisfactory.
